About

Born in England, I studied at the Royal College of Art as an illustrator specializing in watercolors. I never pursued my career as an artist as I was too busy enjoying my life carousing around London in and out of nightclubs and generally having a fun time. Finally, I decided to take a holiday in New York for three weeks and never left …met some guys at the Roxy who worked in the fashion industry and ended up working for Calvin Klein as a textile artist. Which is where I used my artistic talents for many years. It was only when I discovered Cherry Grove, 16 years ago, that I returned to painting, selling my floral watercolors at Coastal Roots, and also doing commissions of cherry grove pets and painting houses of some of the community here. I had forever wanted to paint a map of the grove but settled on the pines, which is my biggest project ever….and one that I hope will stand the test of time. It’s been a labor of love but one that I have enjoyed more than any other painting endeavor. I hope it brings as much joy for the residents of the pines to see it as it has brought me joy working on it
