Isaac Namdar

Isaac Namdar and his husband, Andrew, have been coming to The Pines for 20 years. It was on the beach in front of Ozone Walk, where they fell in love with each other that first summer, and it was in front of Driftwood Walk, where Andrew proposed five years later. Isaac is a successful ENT surgeon at Mt. Sinai Hospital, but he satisfies his creative side with photography. He comes from a large family of photographers, and he was the first one in his family to venture outside of the family business and go into medicine. Isaac specializes in nature and landscape photography, and Fire Island Pines has provided ample inspiration for him over the years. What started as a hobby has blossomed into a full-blown passion. Several of his photos, including the ones from The Pines, have won awards and recognitions. His artwork has also been displayed in our own downtown business district.
